Colorado Tech Weekly #231: Municipal Broadband and APEX Awards and Other Stories and Events and… and…

Colorado Tech Weekly Binary FlagColorado Tech Weekly brings you the top 10  technology stories of the past week and the best upcoming local tech events every Monday morning!

I am intrigued by the growing popularity of municipal broadband or at least the growing interest. It is my opinion that internet access should be treated like a utility. I have spent the last 4 years going to school, networking for my next job, searching for jobs, learning about the community and there is no way I could not do this without a consistent, reliable internet connection. Everyone should have this kind of opportunity.

Congratulations to this year’s APEX Award winners! It’s neat to see the people and companies I share about are getting recognized!

Have a great week!

Colorado Tech Weekly #191: Sometimes Tech is Too Broad of a Topic

Colorado Tech Weekly Binary FlagColorado Tech Weekly brings you the top 10  technology stories of the past week and the best upcoming local tech events every Monday morning!

I like when I can find a theme in the headlines I share, but I also like highlighting all the different areas that are covered in the Colorado tech community. If there’s a way to make ones and zeros do a thing, it’s being done here in Colorado. Even better, it’s done in an inclusive, supportive community. It’s just one of the reasons I look forward to being able to contribute to the Colorado tech community full time.

Have a great week!
