Colorado Tech Weekly #296: Webroot Gets Acquired and Colorado Tech Continues to Grow

Colorado Tech Weekly brings you the top 10 technology stories of the past week and the best upcoming local tech events every Monday morning!

I’ve been doing this series for almost 5 years and in that time the already thriving Colorado tech community has continued unprecedented growth. When I started at Infinicept, we had 5 employees and when we went out for a company lunch on Friday we went with 23 people!

It would be really easy for me to take our growth for granted but it is important that we not only stay humble about our growth but also that we do so responsibly and with kindness.

Only 4 more Colorado Tech Weekly posts will be on ScottPantall.com. Starting on March 11 (if I’ve done my math correctly) you’ll be able to find them on the new and improved ColoradoTechWeekly.com.

Have a great week!

Colorado Tech Weekly #170: Dizzion and GoSpotCheck Grow, Denver Celebrates Startups and Amazon Office Opens in Broomfield

Colorado Tech Weekly Binary FlagColorado Tech Weekly brings you the top 10  technology stories of the past week and the best upcoming local tech events every Monday morning!

Today officially starts Denver Startup Week! I have purposely left DSW events out of this post for two reasons. The first reason is that the DSW website is an excellent and easy to use resource for all things DSW.

The second reason is that I’m a little bitter about DSW. Last week I was all excited to spend Tuesday downtown at panels, meeting people and participating in the Cognizant Quick Left hackathon however life had other plans for me. My house needs foundation repairs so instead of spending Tuesday meeting you cool people in real life I will spend it moving everything out of my basement to get my basement slab repaired.

Things don’t always go as planned but they often work out for the best. Have a great week!
